My Twin Engine Vauxhall Corsa.....(Updated with my 2nd car)

just thought i would put some photos up as i know people on here love the fabrication which go's into these massive builds.
Car is a Vauxhall Corsa with 2 x 2lt 16v Turbo engines rated around 450bhp each total = 900bhp+

Alot of work has gone into this over the past 2 years and its still not finished

I like the rear window

The number plate (guess it's just a show plate though

And the removeable diagonals above the rear engine (good thinking!) and the general tidyness of the whole thing.

Best of luck with it, that thing should be suitably insane. 800-900bhp tonne, 4wd, short wheelbase!? HAhahahaha :flame:

The car weight in total with myself in the car 1200KG

As for the reg plate yes it was for show as the engine code from the engines i am using its C20LET Since then i have bought a reg plate which is C13RSA (CORSA) as i like reg plates give that nice touch, i have another corsa which i built (and still own) with a 3.0 V6 with a 6 speed then alittle NOS ontop which has the reg B20RDY (BEARDY)

I'm seeing an interesting Corsa battle at the Pod brewing already.

My corsa is in a differant class really to phil as mine has double the power and 4wd so he has nothing to worry about, he has his own worrys in the FWD class as it is

Will be meeting up with phil on the 25th as got him booked in for a FWD Drag day

Sheeeeeet. You are officially insane. Really tidy cars though man, well done! Black V6 is waaaayyy to high though (I like my cars slammed).

Here's me happy with my £1200 budgeted e30 3.5litre drift car at circa 220bhp/tonne without driver.

Lovely work on both Corsas.
The twin engine jobby is it road legal :laughing:

GM have got around 1000hp from the 2.2ltr Z22 engine in their drag racer with off the shelf parts if you want more poke :flame:

Is the gearshift heavy? would love to see how things are connected up just out of sheer curiosity.
Can you vary the power of each engine so as to create some kind of active diff scenario? or would that just push one engine into a crazy over-run situation?

jeez boys that floats my boat lol, love tiddlin wi engines, we have a massey 35 tractor with a 2.5l diesel diahatsu engine in her, runs like a beauty, had 2 make engine mounting and sump, bt shes a one off lol

As always, magnificent work! Normally, I hate Vauxhalls, but yours are the exception.

I guess the Uno Turbo into Cinquecento project is waiting until the Corsa is finished? I remember thinking that if anyone could get it to go round corners properly, you'd be the man.................
