Blue roll recommendations

This ought to be so simple but it's a minefield. I used to have one of those Tork centre feed holders but the rolls for it were expensive and thinner than rice paper.

What I want is better rolls with good absorbency. What do you guys use?

No time to make stuff, but my box of workshop rags is almost empty. Wall mounted holder would be good.

I now use a super kitchen roll from Lidil's.....€3,25.....I mean it's masive...feally good paper and doesnt fall apart when wet.....
saved me a fortune......
still like old T shirts for cotton wipes tho....

For DIY I also use lidl stong kitchen roll.

At work I liked the crinkly thin paper wypall L10.

What are you doing with it?

Normal stuff, drying paint guns, drying parts out of the washer, wiping up spills etc. Nothing too strenuous.

Make a roll holder! it isn't difficult.

And bought a few of these roll dispensers, didnt seem worth the time to make them for what they cost.

i buy the Tork white rolls in a 6 pack from costco. couldn't tell you the price but it doesn't seem out of order, fits in the tork holders ok

always found the blue ones fragment badly whereas the white are tougher

Me too, it is cheap when you realise that other places sell it for £4 a roll.

A lot of stuff is more money on the website, many places sell those Scott rolls singularly for £4. I think the last bale I bought was about £15 in store.

I have a tub where I chuck the used but not so dirty stuff, that way if I have something really oily I grab a few of the lightly used ones to do initial clean up.

We had this at work with the onset of covid, couple of years ago.

Towels became a no no.

Zep supplied free hand / workshop paper towel dispensers.

But order a 12 pack of rolls worked out at well over a tenner a roll.

For 160 / 180 euros I couldn't fill the work van with supermarket kitchen roll.

So I said sod that and we're still on last year's kitchen roll supplies.
