Ideas for a lawn mower engine.

Hi

I have tried to fix the body of the mower with some success but it's dead know. It's a 1995 hayter.

It still has a strong engine .so I don't want to junk it. Any one got any ideas of a wee project or some I could use the engine for. Brigg and Stratton 3.5hp

this is what I did......have a big place and strimming by is too hard with the hand held variety........
the tool sack is an old seat air bag, the top shaft pulley is from a Massey 35 w/pump....flanged bearings £8 from eBay........everything else is from the scrap bin.....wheel from an old wheel chair.....

Brilliant, I have a modern version which is way too flimsy, converted it from strimmer cord to a couple of short chains so its like a mini swipe.

That said a belt on two pulleys will happily run at ninety degrees to each other without coming off if there is a bit of distance between them.
