I‘m aware that that manufacturers sometimes make products to a price for these type of offers, but has anyone had experience of buying this and could give a review (value for money, performance etc)

I don't know, the drill and impact driver are about £70 each, do you value the batteries and charger at £160

had probs with DeWalt batt gear and some of their smaller mains powered stuff.....grinders in partiq.....
some have good luck with them tho....
I have upgraded to Millwaukee now......never going back.....
as My Hitachi batt tools die I will replace with the red stuff....

i have the dewalt 18 volt brushless drill and gets used day in day out for the last 3 years. the joiner i know has the same and got it at same time price it all up separately and see if the price is diffrent

You can spend forever & a day shopping for best deals, latest equipment etc. Nowadays, I tend to just do a quick Google/Ebay/Amazon search, for something I'm interested in, & go with whichever seems the best price at the time. You'll always find things cheaper, else a better model, at some point, but I'd rather just have the gear than obsess over always finding the best model or best price. It can waste you no end of hours going down that route.

I haven't compared the specs other than this has 4ah batteries but it's £100 less for one less battery. I know world has gone 700ah battery crazy but the reality is 4ah is perfectly fine for these kind of tools as is a 2ah.

Many of these sellers list kits that are slightly different in spec or model number which makes the whole thing a minefield.

Decide what you want do a quick search and buy it, if you can go to a local place and collect it's more exciting as you can have there and then

I have just paid £225 for a fast fan cooled charger and 3 5AH battery's so working on my prices that combo deal seems pretty good and it comes with a case.

Love my DeWalt stuff, use that drill and impact every day for years and just keeps on going. Chuck on the drill used to be plastic, and crap tbh but I see they've changed it.

Got a fair heap of stuff now, was using the die grinder for hours today, what a great tool and remarkably easy on the battery.

Just picked up 1/2" impact gun tonight.

Would absolutely love a flexvolt grinder.

I have this set. I honestly can't fault it. One or the other gets used most days.

Die grinder is on my list. And sander.

Flexvolt is impressive. 300mm mitre saw and tracksaw here and both are as powerful as mains.

I don't use my pneumatic die grinders unless I absolutely have to now, the DeWalt one is so good it just doesn't kick at all because it doesn't bog down no matter how hard you push.

The little Sanders look handy but I'm mirka loyal!

I went festool corded for my tracksaw, I'm usually in the workshop and connected to the extractor anyway that cordless wasn't a huge selling point, I looked long and hard at the DeWalt though ultimately the quick depth adjustment, rail accessories and package deal with the m class extraction on the festool closed the deal.

I really like the double sided track on the DeWalt though.

My ts55 died a few weeks ago
Already owned an 18v DeWalt and 110v DeWalt so knew what to expect.

Even cordless it ****** all over my festool on power. Not as nice to use. Height/bevel adjustment but meh. I can love with that.

110v Makita die grinder here. Can't fault it but when your up a scaffold working on rotten Windows. Same for the sander
