My ts55 died a few weeks ago
Already owned an 18v DeWalt and 110v DeWalt so knew what to expect.
Even cordless it ****** all over my festool on power. Not as nice to use. Height/bevel adjustment but meh. I can love with that.
110v Makita die grinder here. Can't fault it but when your up a scaffold working on rotten Windows. Same for the sander
My ts55 is the newest one with the thin kerf blade/riving knife, makes a huge difference to the power, compared to my mates older one.
Still underpowered though, definitely agree with you there.
Swithered about the mafell too but it fell down for the same reasons as the DeWalt did for me.
Do love the 18v DeWalt circular though, so handy, again switching to the thin kerf blades makes a big difference, thoroughly recommended.
