That’s what I did with mine when I added a shower into the family bathroom…That way of installing showers is a bit old hat these days. 2 15mm pipes poking out the wall at 150mm centres, then use the compression adaptors that slide over once the finished wall is in. No joints in the wall and don't need those hateful offset adaptors
Just used a couple of push fit blanking caps to test for leaks…All good, then ready for the tiler to come and do his stuff…
