Vice grips where originally made by the Petersen manufacturing company.Vice grips is a trade mark brand, brought out by Irwin, who also purchased Record.
In my opinion when Irwin bought the company quality went down
Sadly so true, from the little I know it killed the local town, now made in China for a few quid less, same happened with Beach Tool boxes.Isn't that just one of those universal truths?
Absolutely agree. I see there's Chinese knock offs now too, anyone tried them.Best clamp I own by a country mile Bessey lever clamp https://www.powertoolsdirect.com/be...DHqTdLf0sfhyVTZplcB4zqBSlkqD3fZBoCbjcQAvD_BwE
Quick to clamp and one handed to take off.
You've got the forums mixed up again Mat! That explains why there were so many welding posts on bdsmNet tonight.
