Morning all,
Could any of the machinists out there recommend any books on the subject of machining as i'd like to learn more about terms and different operations etc because i know very little about it,i realise that there is no substitute for having a machine to use and get experience but i don't have one but hope to get a small lathe eventually and possibly a small milling machine (that'll be interesting sneaking those in past the missus! ).
Of course any website's might be easier than sourcing books....Im also thinking of contacting the local model engineering society as the build a lot of small steam engines from scratch (which i find very interesting, but yet im 'sad!')
Many thanks for reading yet more drivel chaps
Regards
Joe
