hi again good folks of mw.
yet again ive been on the job and got my dirty fingers on a 100mm inline centrafugal fan from a friend who was no longer in need of it.
ive looked this model up and it pull 175m3 per hr!!!! and its quiet...
i traded it for a few bottles of homebrew, what a bargain....these normaly retail at about 60 green queens minimum,
anyway, i had some flexi 100mm ducting laying about and the chap even still had a good meter of duct still stuck to the fan unit.
its even still got a 3 meter length of 3 core flex and a 13amp plug!!!! lol
also whilst skip diving at work i got my grubby fingers on a nice 1mx 2m clean peice of 4mm fiberboard.
i marked it out, cut and bodged together a canopy that will get hung from my ceiling on chains or fixed to the wall above my welding bench to get rid of any dust or smoke from my antics...
obvioulsy ive still got to cut a 103mm hole in the canopy in the center and it will get sealed in using some industrial sealant glue.
then the tail end of the duct will be hung outside the garage door on the guttering..
all in all this cost me about £1.60 as the home brew worked out at 30p a pint...oh and the duct tape was free from work, lol
happy days...
oh and thought id just add a pic of one of my latest arrivals, lol
a lovely looking bird if i do say so myself, 6 months old and laying, for a fiver and not a mite or lice in sight!! lovely old job,lol
peace
