Maypole turbo 120 MIG/MAG,,,,,does anyone know this welder,,,and whats the minimum amp it can be turned down to ??cheers as i am looking to buy one off a bloke in reading ,,but he cant help on the info side as the info is covered in paint

maypole are a motor factors so may be a re badged older SIP

hi,,yeah i see that answer and link when googled
but link just takes you to the shop and when searched in shop for welders only 1 result for an arc,,cheers any way,,but still need to know
min weld amps for this mod

you need to look for a SIP welder maypole dont make them they are just badged mayploe

does it look anything like this one

Hi,

Just to clarify, we have never supplied any machines to Maypole. Whilst they may look like SiP welders - they have not come from SiP.

Normally speaking, the min. output current of the moving shunt transformer type welder is around 40-60A.
