My welds Crack

hello all

just got my co2 reg so thought i'd have a bash at the car, doing butt welding but the weld keeps cracking when its ground down.

also i dont know if i have the welder set up right tho,

its a cosmo 130

on min setting with co2 at 10-15 on the guage

what speed should the wire be fed?

the wire somtimes burns back to the tip

Any help would be top bommy,

I gess the first question would be... what thickness material are you playing with?
When you say cracks... can you take the piece off the car again to examine it?
Initially, sounds like a lack of penetration to me.
What are you welding and any pictures?

Yeah, i agree with rob, it will be a lack of penetraton.
