As mentioned above, a 180amp Inverter MMA (stick) welder would be your best option for that type of work
Why do you consider this a better option than a simple 180 amp transformer-based arc welder, please?
An inverter is relatively expensive and has hundreds of electronic components, any of which can blow and make it totally uneconomic to repair.
A transformer-based arc welder is dead simple with virtually nothing to go wrong, and costs peanuts. It will also make a fine job of welding heavier bits of metal.
