Sheet metal folder

Hi everyone

As anybody made there own sheet metal folders simliar to the one's in machine mart. As i could do with a larger one and to bend abit thicker sheet metal

My folder

This is my second folder which replaced the angle in the vice version! I now have an edwards box and pan folder as well but there are jobs which I cant do on the edwards which are easy on this one. I never finished the back clamp properly it just works with a couple of nuts and bolts, by having a few different holes I can change the bend radius to a point. I have bent 3mm brackets in S515 sheet but not over the full length. nearly ripped the vice off the bench in the process! the best thing about this sort of bender is I can abuse it and do things I would not attempt in the edwards - that is saved for the good jobs!
The angle is 80x80x10 and the channel is 125x 75x 10 The hinges I turned up to suit and notched the angle and channel with a slitting disc.
