As mentioned in the lathe thread, here is what my deal came with:
Lathe:
38" between centers, spindle bore can handle just over 3/4 stock
Toolposts, tooling:
Original tool post, quick change tool holders, all kinds of tool bits. BTW, the toolholders have 3/8" carbide indexed tools in them.
Accessories:
Two chucks, face place, 2 lathe dogs, milling attachment, ball turning tool, extra main pulley, Collete adapter.
Gears:
Supposedly a complete set.
Headstock:
Supposedly has Timken bearings too.
There is a stand made from angle iron and C-channel that I did not get pics of. It bolts to the floor
I felt so guilty leaving with all the stuff. The guy said I was the first responder to the ad and he had tons more replies. He could have sold the lathe for almost 2x the price with no tooling.
Actually, I bought it for the original new price. The lathe was $339 in 1935. With tooling was probably near $500 in 1935 dollars. Add 70 years of inflation and even with the age was still a great deal.
The guy was happy though. He is getting a big TurnMaster Lathe and needed the space (don't know if I have the name right.)
I still can't help feeling guilty, happy as a clam though
