this was a decent welder to start off for my 1st attempt at welding :welder:

(got an old 72 beetle waiting to get kamikazied on and used and abused :whistle:

)

but need to get the finger out and get it assembled and find a gas bottle and mask (anybody got any recomendations on masks or a spare bottle?)

auto masks are great something like the Paraweld (£40 ish) As for gas hard to avoid rental and CO2 wont make the job any easier but can avoid the rental with a pub bottle

find out what thickness the steel is you wish to weld and get a scrap panel of the same thickness to practice on

the kennedy goes down to 30amp on its lowest setting which means you will probably want 0.6mm wire and tip fitted if you are welding thin gauge steel

was told that was the 1st thing that would save me cash in the future, was more expensive than a live torch, but the euro torch will pay for itself,

just wish i had a drawing on where all those nuts and bolts along with washers and wheels went

got the wheels sorted out, and a couple other bits, but i think its just a process off ellimination for the other bits to find the purpose for
