Should give me more mid-range cleaning roofs
We power wash with no problems, run reduced pressure with a 12" surface cleaner and a 40ft carbon pole from a tower. Slate roofs apart from moss are more stained from within the slate so although you remove the moss you don't really have the same results as removing grime from a concrete tile. The bad rap this game gets is when the "travelers" get up there with turbo nozzles running 200 bar for fast results, rips the surface off the tile face. I am on the look for a cherry picker atm to remove setting up the towers on every job as work is picking up.On that subject, what way would you suggest for cleaning a Bangor Blue natural slate roof? I've heard that power washing is a no-no. The roof has quite a lot of moss on it as well as some white staining below the chimneys.
