I've been reading this thread with interest, having noticed the feature list of the Paton and it's 5-year Warranty and what seems to be a reasonable cost balance.... and wondering why more people aren't raving about them?
Is there a reason?
How would a Paton compare with the R-tech 180 or the Parweld that seem to be well thought of for performance - esp for automotive thin panel welding?
(I'm wary of Inverters in general, but a 5-yr Warranty does offer some peace of mind that the Mfr has faith in their build quality).
Has the OP made a decision and taken the plunge?
