Has anyone got any experience with these? I need a 12" one, but would like brand recommendations please. Ideally, able to cut the thicker the better. Ideally I want to guillotine up to 1.5mm stainless, but maybe that's a step too far. Thanks.
I have a big old un.....French made cast iron effort....
easy to cut 1.5mm but only 4-5 inches in one hit....
but remember they tend to pull off the line.....when I use mine on plate I put it a little out of line so then it pulls / cuts straight......
I have seen a 12incher fairly recently, geared head, cast iron and old stock but it was in Athens....with about an inch of dust on it.....
I woud have bought it but not at 600 euros.....
does anybody buy big ones new anymore.....perhaps in Pakistan, India etc where labour is cheap......??
I'd be very interested to see what u buy.......
In the old days I had one of these "Ketona" but it would not cut st/steel that size even with sharp blades....wish I had it now....
