yeah it is an interesting gearbox though i will take photos and also upload them for others if they care to copy the build fine by me
english improvised engineering is kinda interesting in its own right as gives other ideas to re engineer things much better a bit like myford did with spareys idea for the gearbox on the myford ml7s
oops sorry about that ive had my eye on it since it got posted up just kept so quiet about itCongratulations on the purchase.(not that I'm biased)
Be very interested on more details on that extra gearbox. It looks like they have mounted the standard changewheels along one shaft and simplified the complicated standard system of setting it up for different feed rates.

When I bought my S&B I took it off the cabinet to make it less top heavy for the trip home and put it all in my small trailer - you may regret putting an ancient oily, swarf covered lathe in the back of the car!
