Hi,
I use an electric chainsaw for lopping up bits to splitting size.
Odd thing recently, it is cutting at an angle to the right, so after getting into the log, it is inclined to jam.
Oh, says I, chain must be worn on one side, from touching the odd bit of metal. BUT, resharpened and the same. Tried another chain, same.
The arm looks OK, not worn unevenly..
Any ideas?
It is a Hyundai from B&Q and has performed well for a few years. Might buy a new chain, but using the spare that was resharpened didn't seem to change it. I use an Einhall electric sharpener on this and the bigger petrol one. No problem with the other saw.
