just finished a night course, Manual Metal Arc Fillet Weld - EN287-1
root and 2 cap with 2 stop starts on 6mm plate,2 visual inspections on cuts passed and waiting results of DT
started a tig welding version last night,first time ever holding a tig torch so was a bit nervous.
poor results at the beginning,shocking really.at the end of the night i was able to produce what kind of looked like actual welds.
(before you say it,wasnt given facilities to clean or prep the material beforehand)
loads of areas to improve,but enjoying learning it
