Good evening everyone,
I'm a bit messed up in my thoughts on how to spend my money well..
Let me explain better, where I live it is difficult to buy used and resell used goods, so I have to buy well from the start.
I would like to buy something that will last me over time, I mean years... also because at least for the moment my projects will not be sold, so the equipment will not pay for itself. I won't have any cash income to pay off the equipment.
I am a mechanical designer with 3D CAD programs, and in the past I have programmed three-axis CNC machines.
I have no manual skills but I want to learn.
I intend to build equipment for my walk behind tractor, I live in the countryside and practice some agricultural activities.
I intend to build some fine accessories for my beautiful motorcycle, the motorcycle par excellence, and it is your English Triumph Bonneville t100.
I have to buy a welding machine to try and build everything!
my budget is around 1300 euros, but if it's worth it I'll reach 2000..
I constantly look at reviews on YouTube but I can't understand which welding machine is best for me, especially whether to buy two different ones, tig and mig, or the multifunction ones whether to buy the machines with displays and buttons, or the manual ones, which are probably easier to repair and last longer.
I'm undecided between a good double pulsed migmag stahlwerk and then getting a tig, it has the display, four rollers, welds thin aluminum.
then here I discovered rtech, more traditional machines..
then I saw a parweld acdc tig and mig, it seems like my dream.. and maybe I would even buy it, but if in five or six years it breaks... who will be able to fix it?
sorry for the long message, I'm a simple worker in a factory, and I'm trying to find good advice, more than one, on how to do better. Hugs to all. A thousand thanks
