Hi all do anybody know where you can get welding gloves for kids? my 11yr old wants to learn to weld i've got a helmet but need to find some gloves for her
dont think they come in childrens sizes, but you can look for small tig gloves, they are normally made out of thinner material, so heat can transfer faster than the normal welding gloves, but they are mire flexible too
You could try a pair of Ejendals Tegera 17, they come down to a size 7, which is what my missus uses.
They're not strictly classed as welding gloves by Ejendals because they have a shorter cuff than the identical Tegera 19 Gauntlet, but I would think that would make them less unwieldy for small arms.
The heat resistance in them is about as good as any MIG/Arc glove I've had (I bought some after seeing the missus' ones), and they have very good dexterity.
Tig Gloves combined with one of those elasticated fibreglass hand protectors on whichever hand is more exposed to the heat (based on their preferred grip) would be my next thought.
