I'm barely an amateur so I apologise in advance if this is a rooky mistake..
I've a Lincoln Bester 190c which I've used no more than 5 times in the last 12 months (just over 12 months old). Came to it today, everything seemed okay until I came to actually weld and no spark.
* The unit feeds the wire through for about 3 seconds and then stops.
* When I pull the trigger the display shows 0 amps, 87 volts (regardless of setting), when I release it goes back to the correct display.
* I release the pressure roller in the wire feed (to stop it feeding the wire) and used a multimeter to check the volts from the tip to ground, pulled the trigger, and still get 0 volts
I wonder if anyone has had a similar issue or have any ideas?
Thanks,
Phil.
