I've made a start on my copper piping, but still need some guidance, specifically in the link between the compressor and the piping, and then into the air filter by the outlet.
1. I plan to remove the end bung on the tank and take the feed from there - how do I know what size fitting it will be, so I can look for a suitable adapter?
2. Not sure what hose to use between the comp and pipe. I've considered a whip hose, but am struggling to find one with a uniflow end.
Alternatively, I've just read that I could use a flexible water pipe - is a flexible tap connector, such as available from screwfix sufficient? What adapter would it need on the copper side? - Is it just 1/2 BSP?
3. Fitting the air filter - what is the best way to transition from the fixed copper pipe into the filter. I've seen 15mm to 1/2 bsp adapters, but they would be fixed and require the filter to rotate to fit/remove (which it won't because it will be against the wall) Am I stuck with using compression joints here?
Thanks in advance for any advice given.
