The MigMaker 180-1. This has 6 power settings, while the 200 and above have 12.
The 12 is really a "2x6" as it has what I assume is the same 6 settings switch as the 180, plus another rotary switch with 2-positions...a Coarse Hi/Lo (so 1-6 Lo then 1-6 Hi.
My question is....can the 180 have the extra Coarse switch added / retro-fitted?
Does anyone know?
(I wondered if the PCB isn't common in several of the sets in the range. If so, that might mean that a coarse switch, a short loom and a jack plug into the PCB might be all it takes to add 6 settings to the 180, basically).
TIA.
