Hi Peps.
I've been using my little Xts for over a year and it runs faultlessly. Love the way it welds.
At home I am running off a 32A RCD and I have had hours of welding with no issue. I occasionally take it to other places, and I have found the last two places I tried it would trip the mains as soon as I turned it on. (16A RCD)
Today I tried an experiment, and I also took my sherman 205p Tig, and my Murex Mig machine and neither of those tripped the electrics.
Does this sound like an issue with the machine? or doe sit just have a current spike that sensitive house wiring doesn't like.
Every time it's tripped I have brought it home and tried it on my own house with no issues. I know my home electrics work ok, if I turn the Murex up to 5/6 it will trip.
I would appreciate any thoughts and whether it needs to go for a service or something.
Matt
