I'd been saving up for a gas MIG for a while and was set on a Bohler or GYS when I came across this on Expondo. It was on offer and using a discount code as well I worked out I could have it on my doorstep for £495 with a 2 year warranty so I decided to take a punt.
I thought there might be a few people on here who would be interested so I'll share my thoughts on it. Bare in mind this is my first gas MIG so I have nothing to compare it too.
It came in around 4 days from Poland and was well packed. It comes with a MB24 torch, earth lead, a 1.2mm tip, liner and feed roller for aluminium and a tip spanner. No electrode holder or TIG torch.
Build quality seems pretty decent, the handles a bit of a strange design but seems strong enough even though it rattles a bit. The display is nice, simple and uncluttered and pretty intuitive. The earth lead and torch seem to be good quality.
It has synergic MIG programs with pulse and double pulse for steel, stainless and aluminium as well as manual MIG, TIG and MMA. It also has 2T, 4T, Spot and some other trigger modes. It takes 5 kg rolls of wire and can run a spool gun.
Overall I'm really happy with it, it's a huge step up from my gasless mig and definitely more capable than I am. Time will tell on reliability but so far so good. And a few pics.
And after a little bit of practice some of my first welds, not sure I've got my gas flow quite right but I don't think it's a bad start.
