Quality, flexible, Air Hose

I have just had it now with my present air line. I bought it on the understanding it was "flexible" well it isn't. Okay, it could be if I warmed it up to 100 degrees C I suppose.
Anyone able to suggest a supplier of quality rubber air line?

Pirtek own brand air hose is the nicest I've ever used, super flexible. I make all my whip hoses from it. I also used to replace the hose on a cheap Aldi hose reel. The reel is under cover but in an open barn, I managed to get 20m + on the reel so I can get to a vehicle in the yard. It gets muddy and it's still really nice.

Not the cheapest stuff, what I did was get a price on a 50m roll and split with a friend. I think I got quite a good deal because we used to collect parts from our local one and I saw the guy every day.

Anther option would be to buy a 3-4m length and join it to the end of yours permanently or with coupling, reality is it's the working end where you feel the difference. It's the same as using a whip hose it's makes a tool feel far less bulky

By far the best flexible supersoft hose I have ever had is the Flexcellent hose. It can be minus ten and its no different than at room temperature.

Thank you very much guys for all your help. I bought the "Flexillent" Tundra air hose from Spraygunsdirect as it was free shipping.

Looking forward to NOT tripping over coils of air hose.

18 months on, could i ask for a longer term experience of the tundra hose, please?

Im about to buy some and i just thought i best check that it does not self destruct after 3 months of ownership?

I have only shown the better of them and the new one, the one in the yard has had many years of use now and although aesthetically challenged is as good as new. Had no need to use the new one yet which says something

Has crimped on ferrules Mr Spark, not so sure a Hubert Lee clip would work on this supersoft silicone hose

If you want really heavy duty and resistant to sparks RS Components sell a black and yellow air hose. It’s not particularly flexible but it will last years!

I am a little confused. I have airhoses by Neilson and they dont come much cheaper but have remained flexible for 10 years.
Some i had left in the elements have perished at connectors but only what i would expect after 10 years.....

I think if you can keep them away from hotworks they will last forever, my original has been with me for years now and there is absolutely no sign of degradation .

my main hoses are braided rubber steam hose lasts forever. the rest are acetylene hoses or similar don't suppose they are cheap but I scored them for nothing

Gouging ruins them fairly quickly.

I've used this stuff for all of the whips on my air tools, and a couple of my air lines because I got fed up with the stiff PVC hoses and the rubber ones that kept rotting - very flexible, really nice hose. Can't comment on durability as I don't use it professionally and have only had it for a couple years. No affiliation with the company, I think I bought it through ebay as it was cheaper.
