0 - 32vDc 6a Power supply

Again I am going to ask the collective for some help and advice.

Due to a accident at my friends place my DC 0-32vDc 6a PSU has died. My friend has agreed to replace it at the price I paid for it.
£50.

What is out there on the market I can buy for that price?

Mine was a Ex MOD item and the place I used to get it from does not have anything in stock.

There's a UNI-T UTP1306S 32V 6A bench PSU on Amazon for £62. CPC Farnell list Tenma bench PSUs. I've found them to be reliable, but £50 won't get you 32V 6A. More like 30v 3A at £49.95 plus VAT.

That’s a pain to have lost good kit, I’ve been looking for a lab supply with a higher current output, in the end I reckon I only need high current at 12v and 24v so can reuse standard PSU’s this means the 1amp on my Lab supply will work for most things..(so can you also get away with a low current variable supply with PSU’s for common voltages?)

How is it? I’m tempted as my 0-100V 1amp supply is heavy and I only really need <30v. I also want to mount it to the wall so this looks much smaller

No it is dead, dead, dead.

Transformer has failed, PCB is brunt out and LCD display has gone as well.

I saved the power lead, main fuse holder and the pots.

Going to be more than £50 but the riden/rdech stuff is excellent. I have a rd6012 and a rd6018 with their case and PSU.
