hi i was wondering if anyone could possibly help me.ive bought a 2nd hand 10 gallon blasting pot and i seem to be having a few problems.i previously had a blasting cabinet which was too small for the wheels that have been blasting.my pot came without any instructions and am at a loss as to what is wrong.i have given everything a thorough clean and yet the flow from the nozzle is very intermittant and no matter what i seem to do it remains the same and even sometimes doesnt work at all?any help or advice would be gratfully accepted or if anyone can tell me where i may be able to get instructions for such a pot would be even better.many thanks to the couple of people who replied to post under the name spangled123 .

Are you sieving the media before putting it into the pot? A "value kitchen sieve" from Tesco is ideal. Otherwise could the media be a bit damp? If the pot is nearly empty an occasional kick would sort the trouble.

Fill the pot up, at guess I would say about 30 Kg.
Is the flow stopping completely or alternating between blasts of media and air?
You could try adjusting the bottom valve to adjust the mixture, if you get it too rich it will block the nozzle.

How are you getting on?
I've just had a nightmare getting mine to feed smoothly, I had to half close the bypass valve to increase the pressure in the pot and even so it went from much too much media to air only.
I traced it to a clump of foreign matter in the pot which had found its way to the bottom. I was too big to pass through the hole so I had to turn the pot upside down and shake it empty.

hi many thanks for your help,have since had shed robbed and most of tools stolen though theyd have had a nightmare taking my compressor.insurance refusing to pay out so building tolls back up again slowly.do you know if they do a gun that can attatch to end of hose instead of using ball valve?am sure have seen them somewhere before.
