150 litre compressor stopped running.

I have checked the fuse and the socket its running off. It still has a supply. It stopped after filling up and never came back on after i exhausted the air.

What should i be looking at...apart from a new compressor.

bypass the pressure switch couple the wires from feed direct to motor might be one or the other put a meter on and check the voltage at motor if that doesn't work in case of flex break

Is there an overload on the compressor any where, either on the motor or in the power supply cable

The last time it stopped did you get the hiss?

If not it may have tripped an overload when it tried to restart.

I am Thinking motor O/L TOO will probably be on the motor capacitor or terminal cover little tiny switch or push button might be showing white??usually push to reset if it wont reset it has burnt out, they do pop, if your check valve has had a bit of carbon stuck in it and allowed the pressure to find its way to the pump valve
