Got this tonight £19.99 20V version



Composite guard, better switch and ergonomics. And the extra angry pixies make all the difference.

I never did really like the 12v version I found it underpowered. Where this 20V one feels just right almost Milwaukee level. There is a trade off with the battery size though.

Some of you have converted these to take roloc discs. If you read this can you give me an idiot's guide on what I need to order to do that please? I would buy another 20V one and convert it to permanent roloc style.

It's just mounting a roloc holder onto the tool. So you can use quick-change sanding discs, flap discs, Scotch discs etc

It is not just composite. That is an adjustable overcladding. There is a steel guard under it too.

The 20V one is M6 unfortunately

On a hunch that if someone makes an M5 one, someone else will make an M6 one, this one appeared:

It's highly advantages to have mini discs to dress welds etc in tight use in automotive restoration.

In fact it's 100% indispensable IMO. But I understand not everyone needs these accessories.

I use my M12 Die grinder with Roloc disks all the time, personally if you have the Cutoff tool I'd leave it be and buy the Die grinder.

I already have a Milwaukee die grinder too.

I would like to convert a parkside one to roloc also so that I can have one handy in each garage.

Give the 12v a go,i love mine,remember,let the tool do the work
