240v compressor

silly question but I thought I’d ask I’ve got a 240v compressor in my shop but I need to go site with it and my Arcgen has only 110v output would this be ok to swap the 240v plug to a 110v plug and the compressor would still be ok to use?

The compressor motor will 'demand' 240V, so I'm afraid you're stuffed - not sure if it would be....

At the very best it would be running on 1/2 power more likely to blow suffink..... just hire one for the job in 110v flavor.

That the quickest way to blow up your compressor or generator, if you get really really lucky you'll have to replace both........answer....don't be stupid..
