25mm square tubing connectors

I want to build a "box" that will fit on my little trailer that is capable of holding my large mobility scooter. The idea I have is making the end panels detachable so alternative items can be fitted and it then being possible to use it as a single person camper pod. Nothing fancy - just a box.
Various designs are flowing around my head and one is making a simple box frame out of 25mm alloy flagged tube with ready made corner connectors. The plastic are easy to find but I'd prefer alloy as I can assemble and then get it TIG together
So does anyone know of a source of alloy versions of these -

I've been searching but all I can find is a Chinese manufacturer who will supply in bulk (not possible to show picture but here is the URL -

Those are/were used for office desk assemblies. If you can find some old desks then they may well have the ally ones and tubing

ps there is usually a plastic insert that locks the joining piece into the tube (not welded, just knock together)

trouble is there tapered and use plastic inserts and u tap the joints in tight so they would melt

I can get the plastic versions with a steel inner that I could them secure with pop rivets but that is second option if alloy not available.
Once the basic frame is made then the outer will be clad in alloy / thin fibreglass and inner with thin ply on inside and 25mm solid insulation in between.

I recall them as Dexion Speedframe, I think they did alloy & steel versions.

Make them up from angle, just reduce the lengths of the legs until it fits inside the box and weld it up. I would be tempted to pin the joints and secure the pins with R clips and not rely on friction to hold it together.

Problem is I don't have the facilities for alloy welding so if I can get alloy connectors I'd have to get somebody else to TIG them together. If I could weld alloy then I'd simply mitre the corners rather than using connectors.

if u have a blowtorch use technoweld or durafix easyweld aluminium brazing rods easy to use and strong

I've tried both Technoweld and Durafix rods (got some in "stock") but didn't have much success. With Technoweld I found if I could pre heat items in the kitchen oven first then it was fine for small casting. A restoration of a Land Rover found me needing to fill some holes in 3mm plate I'd used for new floorboards and the amount of heat required to melt the rods distorted the plate. In the end gave up on trying so aren't confident about using it for a box structure.

The Dexion Speedframe look ideal - but need a plastic retainer so precludes having them TIG'd

pages of the stuff, Google Dexion speedframe, used to try and save the inserts when knocked apart they regularly split. But new stuff once assembled takes a lot of stick

I used EsiWeld years and years ago, worked well but I am not sure about the wall thickness you are thinking of 'welding'
