Hi there,
I've been acquiring my spray paint setup recently (4HP 200L compressor, a semi decent gun, water trap etc).
At the moment I'm doing furniture and cabinets for my living room, shooting acrylic paint. It got me some experience. (I'm using a 1.8mm nozzle so I assume I'll need the 1.5mm for car parts).
However I'm looking into redoing the front and rear bumper of my car. It's a recent BMW so I assume it's finished in 2 pack, (metallic).
Now my question:
I'm not up to doing 2 pack just yet (I don't have the safety equipment and don't feel comfy messing around with it) so just for the ease of operation I'll keep with regular paint (cellulose/acrylic).
Can I redo my bumper without it looking different then the other parts of the car? Is there a difference between 2 pack and cellulose or will it look different because I can't match the paint colours?
Thanks!
