32 amp flylead

Could someone point me in the direction of a 32amp socket to 13amp plug flylead. Having some bother getting one online, seem to only see ones for PAT testing but from what I can see these cant be used (Maybe these can be used??)

Just purchased a 250 amp R-Tech welder and need a fly-lead to let me away until i get a 32 amp socket installed

Just but the bits 32amp socket, bit of decent flex and a good quality plug. Make up your own.

Yeah your just gonna pop the plug fuse unless your running very minimal power

13amp plug supplying the 32 amp plug on the welder, so welder will only get what the normal plug can supply...UNTIL...he has a 32 amp supply fitted

Second this. Those pat testing jobs have pretty weedy cable.

It will pop the 13amp plug fuse unless its kept on very low settings.. 32amp supply is a big supply machine so i doubt the 13amp plug fuse will hold out any practical ammount

a 13 amp fuse will hold up to 20 amp for a fair while

I second this Getting a 4mm tail in it is a bit more of a challenge .

Acording to this 20A will not blow the 13 A fuse !

2.5mm is about the max you can get in to a 13 amp plug

You either need to try harder

or cheat and use a slightly larger plug.

( As was said in the past, its not the size of the organ, but the size of the cathedral its playing in that counts )
