Hi Guys, just to introduce myself .My name is Mark and I live in Dorset on the south coast ,I have been into welding and fabrication since leaving school( a very long time ago !!!!) .I stumbled on this forum while I was looking for tips and advise on tig welding .I have a tig welder but never been shown how to get started so I have learnt by trial and error !!!!.I am also looking for some advise regarding fitting a speed controller to an electric motor .The main problem with that is that I have NO understanding of electrics !!!!! I can wire a plug but after that its another language.So if any of you guys can pass on any help and advise regarding the electric motor please try to keep it very simple .Thanks very much .Mark.

Bit more info would be nice, whats the Motor, whats the welder, is the motor for the wire feed?? 240 volt? etc etc,Plenty help here, plenty experience, need some info if you can, even pics say a thousand words.
