43mm steel tubing

hi all, i am looking to extend the rollcage in my track car, the cage in there at the moment is around 43mm OD and 1 odd mm thick, does anyone know any local places to scunthorpe area cheap, i am after steel, need afew lengths really of around 5ft

just dont know where to go as im new to the area, unless anyone here works at the steel works and can get afew scrap off cuts cheap, cheers all andy..

Try Kass steel on Normanby Road they have plenty of stock and usually plenty of offcuts for cash - know what I mean.
Light gauge flat bar and angle (up to 100x6 flat and 50x50x6 angle type sizes) - go and see the delightful chaps at crosby tool and plant hire on Frodingham Road - they have all your fixings too, fab little shop.
There are some specialist stainless exhaust fabricators in the area who might be worth a try - rebel powerpipes in Barton (I think).
A.E Cook on Brigg Road for your auto spares and indeed they may sell thin wall pipe because they do sell thin sheet for panel repairs.

the scunny steel plant only make re bar type stuff so no good for roll cages!
