Hi, I own a draper 140 amp inverter welder. However it only has 3M welding leads which are a draw back. Are there any adverse effects to replacing the 3M leads with 5M leads? Thanks
Provided they're not horrifically underrated size wise you should have no bother, I regularly use mine with 6m+ leads as I've a few extensions for them odd jobs up a ladder etc!
I bought two 23ft leads second hand last week with thick 300 amp rated cables. There working great, makes it alot easier repair machinery in the workshop not having to move the welder arount the whole time as the other leads were only 1.5 meters long!
A few welds to check performance. :-D
And the new workshop stereo made from speakers from an old car.
nice peelers there. I like the sound system too. im stuck with a crap ipod docking thing that the missus didn't want anymore. cant hear it over the grinder though
