I've picked up a second hand Sealey 7" air angle grinder to use on some body work with one of these miracle shrinking discs. Problem is that the retaining nut sits proud of the disc and as recommended in the instructions i will probably do more harm than good to the panel if i'm not careful
All my 4.5" grinders have the correct sort of flange/nut but it's m14 and the sealey appears to be 5/8 Whitworth (11 tpi) with a diameter of 15.5mm (39/64 or possibly 5/8" ). I've had a bit of a google but no joy, any clues to where i might pick one up or should i just grind this flange down?
Thanks,
ben
ps. some pics to illustrate...
