Hi all,
where can I get a 8000 hour service kit ffor a Broom Wade 2X1 portable compressor. Mine is the model with the 20lt reciever and it's extremely heavy weighing 40kg. I have finally tracked down somebody with a parts list and user manual in the states, so I am reluctant to get serious tools or spanners on this compressor until my manuals arrive, are scanned, OCR is performed, and CHM files created , but any help on where to get spares such as gaskets, O- rings, and even what type of oil I should be using would be greatfully recieved here. If I have to make my own gaskets such as the head gasket, and the circular 3" 7/16 crank shaft inspection plate, what do I make them from?. I am totally blind so I am happy just examining and cleaning and identifying the various parts of the machine at the moment with many hours of reading from this forum. I have a full set of wad punches, up to 1/16 1" so could have a sighty cut out and punch any gaskets that may need to be specially made.
