A couple creations

Just started welding a couple months back, and while I was learning I was able to create a couple things tell me what you think.

First a couple Candle Holders







I made this to be able to expose a bottle of Wine and put buisness cards under.



Here's a type of Vase


And last and sadly far from finished, a kind of futuristique motorcycle.


So please tell me what you think, and sorry for my English, I'm French...

Fantastic stuff. I should make something like those; it looks like fun. And your english is considerably better than my french...

I particularly like the motorcycle. I'll start to stockpile bits and pieces like that. Yours reminds me of Iain M. Banks' descriptions of vehicles in his books.

Excellent work, and some really nice idea's, I think to my way of thinking,to improve things I would use plug welding a lot more just for the more aesthetic look.for example in your first picture the cups would have looked nicer plug welded to the column and the trike seat also plug welded to the axle,A slightly raised plug weld will even give the impression of a rivet head or dress it off for the invisible look to give the "sculpture" more of a mystery effect. just my two penny's worth on your artistic creations.

Thank's Gordon, that's actually an excellent Idea, never really thought of it by the way, of corse the first picture is also the first thing I ever made so, didn't really think about it, but I sure will the next time. I hope to be able to make some more to share.

I like some of those too, you obviously have art talent as well as engineering.
I esp like the twiggy candle holder, if my mrs see's that she'l demand I make one, also like the trike made from a differential, post us the finished item photo.
