The beauty of the daff is you can angle them downward and avoid them acting at a cup.

how about a brass one ,,, with copper leaves , then verdi gris the leaves ... just a thought

I was considering using stainless at some point and heating it up for a similar colour, but not too over do it causing the blues and purples.

Mine are made using trial and error methods haha lots of hammering with a pein hammer or chisels for the petals/leaves and lately a grinder for more detailing
