Nice little job for the fire service - training tower. 8 tonnes, 14m long, 3.6m high, 2.5m wide. Fabbed up as maximum 7m long x 3m wide bits to fit in the galv bath, then all preassembled on the ground in two halves, lifted on to a stretched lowloader, bolted together, infill the bits across the splice and off it goes. 50T mobile to stand it up tomorrow morning.
Includes floors, ladders/hoops/rails/self-closing gates, durbar cills and removable handrails, personnel restraint eyes, vertical durbar panels to 3 sides, gates and all infilled with mesh panels. Structure is easy enough but a few fiddly bits in there. EXC Class 3 job.
Next job is its big brother for the same site; 30 tonnes.
