A recent installation

I was asked to make a sign for the first gateway on the Pembrokeshire Coast Path.
Unusually this is paid for by the landowner not some worthy body, it does promote his campsite as well.
Well done Farmer Palmer. If anybody is after a break I can reccomend staying in one of his yurts.
Sign is made of mostly 5x20mm mild strip bent along it's edge.
My plan was for the layout to delineate the the features in the landscape. It was a big relief to see that my daft idea wor ked.
next up? cityscapes? national parks? no idea but I can see a market for this sort of thing.

I might make a little chin support to go on the fence post for people to line up the photo

Very nice, Stylish too. What type of finish does it have and were the letters hand cut or bought in, Excellent.

Thanks all.
Letters were bought in, there is no point trying to hand cut lettering (from experience). Some oaf did not have thinking cap on at the layout stage.
I had substituted a C for the R, for a photograph and forgot to remove the second C on assembly
Finish is just bare steel, yes it will rust but we figured that Farmer Palmer is not going to look after it and rust is a nice natural finish.

I am very impressed by the outlining of the landscape. Very clever yet subtle. From a photograph, Streetview or on site sketching?

Excellent idea to add a fixed viewpoint to match it up to the landscape.

Despite the Coastal Path branding it's actually in Cardiganshire.

I took a photo of the site with two friends holding poles and lines to frame the area then scaled it up wiht an OHP.
Cant draw for a toffee.
