ABAC 150 leak problem

Hi Guys .. hope you can help, bought a 2005 Abac B3914/150 S
Works fine but when it gets to about 7 bar its leaking around the on/off switch ... It has a new switch unit as the old one was bodged up (and leaked)
Look at the photo 1 the arrow is showing the general area and its pushing out a creamy oil which looks like the sort of lube used to assemble new parts.
(this was brand new and first time it was run)
Does it need setting or something?
The motor cuts on and off as it should do but its supposed to get up to 11 bar ... any ideas ?

That's the dump valve. It may be the union that's leaking or the valve itself. Try squirting some soapy water on it to try to see where the leak is.

The white liquid is an emulsion, there may be a bit of oil getting into the air past the rings.

There will be an adjusting screw under the switch cover, marked +/-. Turn it to adjust the cutoff pressure.

That looks to me like an eBay switch, I bought exactly the same item and it came with 3 plastic blanking plugs for around the sides just above or same level as your arrow every one of them leaked, fortunately I had metal plugs in my old unit and after great difficulty removing the plastic ones (allen key holes rounded while trying to undo) and replacing with metal ones it works OK but I am not happy with it is cheap and nasty but a proper one is more than double the price but the saying goes he who pays cheap pays twice I know I have found out Chris

Thanks Chris .... It was a cheapo from Ebay. Will be away this week but will try to get a vid together when i get back
