Hi all. My name's John and I've had a Mighty Mig 100 MKii sat in the garage for over 4 years (previous house owner left it) and I recently toyed with the idea of getting some use from it. I read the tutorials on the forum and bought the Haynes book. I had a play with it and it feeds erratically and I tried a bit of maintenance. But the nozzle has fallen to bits (the thread is *******) and the shroud is a bit ropey. I've had a google and there are lots of spares but are they going to fit something this old? I think the threads is M8,but I may be wrong.
The wire in it at the moment looks like copper...is this right? What's he used that for? As to what I want to do is keep up to date on making sure my bike is ok. Its a 16 year old Suzuki Dr 650 and I can do most bits but welding would be a good skill to learn.
