I have an Ace grit blaster that I've had for years. It has a tee piece that comes out of the the front. I seem to spend about 5mins blasting and 4 times that unclogging the tee piece or refilling the thing. I'm thinking of giving up with it an getting an eBay 20 gallon. I'm I just going to get the same clogging? My compressor is a 2 x 3hp with a 280 litre tank.

buy the ebay pot and cut the tap of the end of the blast hose off and fit the 3mm ace carbide jet on with a jubily clip .blockages are due to water getting in the supply or 2 much sand entering the blast hose or iregular media . ball valve regulators arent the best of things but u have no choice other than make one or buy a decent one that would cost about £100 just for the valve

I had an Ace, it never clogged but it was a pain to keep stopping to fill it and the T-pieces didn't last long.
The 10/20 gallon Ebay pots are much better, and they have a (crude) means of regulating the media, whereas the Ace doesn't.
That one in your link looks better still, the 10/20 gall. ones take a bit of patience to fill with fine grit.

I have one that looks pretty much the same as the ebay 10/20 gallon ones. If you are going to move it about much I would recommend the smaller one. Even the 10 gallon one is VERY heavy when full and the frame is spindly and barely copes with the weight.
It blasts for over an hour on a fill and you can get a lot done in that time. I stopped using the ceramic tips because they lasted about 20 minutes each. I replaced with a tungsten carbide one that was expensive but works much better.

Depends what you use it for,I wasted many an hour with these small pots trying to do restoration work,i never looked back after getting a full on setup fit to blast a ships hull lol,buy a real pot and compressor if your usually doing anything large,say larger than a car rear axle or a gate.The ace ones are tedious slow,,you can swap the T -piece around and you get twice the life,but the ebay type pots were fast going after the ace setup,but are mickeymouse now i know what blasting should be like 
,they are held together with butterfly nuts and thin tube frames,and as said before,the nozzel is useless.They really are DIY,an hour here and hour there..Nothing more frustrating than stopping to unclog so get a good filter trap whichever you decide on.
