Acrylic paint

I am wanting to spray my bike frame and I am thinking of using a few tins from a local auto/paint shop. I have come across tins of primer, gloss paint and clear laquer in acrylic at a decent price. Is it any good and as safe and easy to use as cellulose paint I have only a rear triangle and three foot of 2" tube to spray and dont possess any air equiptment....well only a track pump. I dont want to use hammerite paint either.

so,how are you going to use it with no compressor?
hammerite(smooth) in spray cans works well.
acrylic sprays easy,not much diff. from celli.

I can pick some 500ml aerasol tins of acrylic paint for 4.69 a tin. I just wondered how acrylic faired compaired to cellulose paint etc.

go with that,primer first.
i would warm the frame if you can.it's could be hard to spray tubing of frame with out it trying to run.the heat will dry it faster.not to hot or it will boil paint as it hit surface.
2-3 light coats are better that 1 heavy.
